Stepping into Fall with Nathalie Love

We teamed up with our friends at Steven Alan to shoot some of our favorite ladies in CV (you’ve probably already seen the dreamy pics of Matilde on our Insta). For Fall, we turned to LA girl-about-town, Nathalie Love, to model some of our favorite bags of the season. Here the actress/model gives good face to photog Jeana Sohn and makes us want each and every CV style she’s carrying. Get ready to fall in lovel! -Alexis

We had the privilege of hosting Damsel in Dior herself, Jacey Duprie, at CVHQ a few weeks back. She decided to take the Spotted Sandrine for a spin – and it looks like the perfect work to weekend bag on her.

We’re pretty much obsessed with all things J. Crew and Jenna Lyons. So when we saw their profile of Lucy Chadwick on their blog, with her cleverly clutching the Leo flat, we flipped. How brilliant is that styling?

One of our favorite new mommy bloggers (and stylist of the Spring ’15 CV Lookbook), Sophie Assa of Eenie Meenie Bambini, is never without her black croco messenger. Check out her recent profile of Clare.

Behind The Scenes of the Spring ’15 Shoot

Just last week we teamed up with photographer Jeana Sohn to shoot the CV Spring ’15 lookbook. We ventured outside to a cool pool and courtside setting to match the sportier themes of the collection – and catch the best shots of CV model, the gorgeous Hayley Magnus. We couldn’t wait to share the behind-the-scenes snaps you won’t find anywhere else. Countdown to Spring starts now!

This pretty much sums it all up. Sporty vibes captured on film for our shoot. Sophie Assa styled Hayley with the new Kenya on her arm.

One of our favorites, photog Jeana Sohn, hard at work at the pool, shooting the Sandrine in the most beautiful morning light.

Swimming lessons are in order with this printed clutch poolside. This French phrase is the latest addition to the CV line.

Sophie puts the finishing touches on Hayley as she holds onto the newest Simple Tote.

Next, the shoot moved onto a tennis court. Here, Hayley looks pretty in pink, set amongst a spattering of tennis balls while grasping onto our new net print clutch.

The anthracite foldover is the perfect complement to Hayley’s pretty, preppy look. Liberty prints + Nikes = perfection.

And of course at the end of the day everyone let loose. Hayley practices her balancing act with her tennis ball fanny worn over her prim white tennis look.

Design & Community Speaker Series This Wednesday!

Krista Smith, West Coast Editor of Vanity Fair, will be moderating the special conversation between these new CFDA members about social responsibility, LA vs. NY design, and how celebrities can impact brands. Excitement was at a fever pitch right before the launch last week. We were busy at CVHQ getting the Clare V. shop up and running, featuring some of our favorite picks – and exciting exclusives.

We collaborated with CV friend and LA native Jenni Kayne on a cute canvas Wallet Clutch with a liberty stripe that was exclusive to SPRING. This special design is flying off the shelves!

We also created this beauty! The ‘Spring Is Here’ Flat Clutch helped kick things off for the app, and we loved seeing it pop up in some of our favorite blogger’s feeds.

Chloe put on the Calais sunglasses in Tomate as soon as they hit the studio. We think they happen to pair perfectly with her CV Bonjour Tee.

We are excited to announce the launch of a special new project we did with our friends at Paper Chase Press in Los Angeles. They asked Clare to collaborate with them on their new project, an exclusive series of customizable stationery collections called Paper Cuts. -Alexis

Lizzie, our graphic designer, created these playful postcards that all have the signature CV hand-drawn touch and classic Francophile style. She designed them to include some of our favorite French phrases including Merci, Bonjour, A Bientot and also, Keep in Touch.

Clare’s custom cards say her name on the back, but Paper Chase allows you to personalize these designs with your own name and address to make them entirely your own. This is such a great shot of the spread on Lizzie’s desk.
